I want to clarify some things about my last post: https://thefloatyboaty.wordpress.com/2015/02/17/no-help-for-singles/
It wasn’t a pity-party. The post was to demonstrate the missing instruction and teaching that those with the experience – those who are older – should be providing. If the people who are family through Jesus do not act like family, do not show love for one another as family, what is the difference between Christians and heathens?
A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. – John 13:34-35
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. – 1 John 4:11-12
Where is this love? Is there someone who cares about those who need help? Everyone starts out single; no one starts out married. So, shouldn’t there be some real and meaningful help for everyone?
I’m not complaining. It is what it is. However, there is something that can still be done – help each other and those whom have not reached the stages in life that you already have. I have been through these stages and problems and am giving my report on the situation. I have also given a way to resolve this issue. It is time for others to step in and help or there be a continual downward spiral into the abyss that the heathens have already entered and learned the hard way.

War is inevitable.
This post by Chateau Heartiste is a good introduction.
Just the fact that there are many different people means that there will be conflict. Just the fact that there are many people means that there will be conflict.
Within any single city, there are at least two “sides”. Each side, while still in the community of the city, forms their own community. However, each individual is trying to define “we” as the community they belong to. Who is “we”? Words have no meaning without a definition. Likewise, the people begin to have a sense of meaninglessness as the “we” with which they are trying to associate themselves to has no defined meaning.
The individual is always attempting to discover who, or what, it is; especially in it’s early years. The individual mind is at conflict with the communal mind. Attempting to define “we” before defining “self” creates a conflict that cannot be resolved without a clear victor. Creating a peace between the two sides leaves continuous tension to be dealt with. Anything under tension will eventually break. The “self” must be defined before the “we” defined, or else the “we” will collapse without the “self” to support it.
War is inevitable.
I want to write on the topic brought up in this post.
According to the author, it is control that makes a man. I disagree. Control of one’s self is a good demonstration of maturity, but leadership is a characteristic of a man.
In Genesis 1, God gave earth into man’s hands to subdue and have dominion over. Woman is made as a help meet, or aid, for man in Genesis 2. Leadership is not a feminine trait.
A man travels through life as a leader. Being a leader requires followers, but being as a leader does not. To live as a leader requires study and self-discipline.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” — 2 Timothy 2:15
I’ll start with a good post from Sunshine Mary:
And a scripture:
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. [Philippians 3:14]
You can’t run backward as fast as you can run forward; and you can’t pull as strongly as you can push. When Paul speaks to the Ephesians about putting on the armor of God, he does not mention anything about the back – no back plate. Going straight to the other side of a river will get you there faster than following the current. A battle is ended quickest by marching forward. It is hard to stand against a raging current, but it is even harder to stop after a slip. Time only flows in one direction.
The masculine man apologizes for his mistakes and corrects his errors; however, he does not retreat or back down or withdraw. If he has been going in the wrong direction, he only changes his course. In Chinese martial arts, there is a concept called “absorbing the blow”. It is a technique of allowing a strike to enter and then absorbing it in order to draw in an opponent for a decisive counter strike.
Moving forward is the only way for a man to grow, to become strong, to succeed, to conquer, to be masculine.
The masculine man may feel things – anger, rage, possession, rejection – but his decisions are based on intellectual logic. While a man can allow his emotions to affect his decisions, the decisions he makes are ultimately a result of an intellectual choice.
Because the masculine man makes his decisions independent of outside influences, deceiving him is nearly impossible (1 Timothy 2:14). The strength of a masculine man does not come from muscles, although this is a positive attribute, it comes from his mind. The ability to make a decision without being affected by the environment he is in and the commitment with which he holds to his decision is the demonstration of his strength.
The masculine man has the same mental characteristics of a trailblazer; a man will always have to make decisions and be responsible for those decisions.
